COMMERCIAL METAL ROOF RESTORATION & Repair
It’s no surprise why so many business owners across Indiana have metal roofs installed on their commercial buildings. These roof systems carry many benefits: they are highly affordable, lightweight, long-lasting, and easily installed.
However, four common problems can compromise a metal roof’s performance. These are:
- Leaking skylight panels
- Roof blow-offs or punctures
- Roofing tears
- Failed fasteners
These issues can then lead to wear-and-tear, decay, cracks, reduced overall protection, or other troubles. Regardless of the extent of the damage, they will require repairs.Metal Roof Restoration SolutionsTo help you overcome these obstacles and guard against future troubles, we offer industry-leading Conklin metal roof restoration products. How does it work?
Your new roof coating system will only provide superior protection with proper installation. That’s why we spend the majority of our time preparing your roof to receive the new roof coating. This ensures a leak-free, waterproof seal that can last for decades.
STEP 1: PRIMING YOUR ROOF
The first step is neutralizing any rust and preventing future rust with rust-off and Metal Encase(r) metal primer.
STEP 2: CAULKING
Next, we caulk all fastener heads and potential weak spots with Kwik Kaulk Fastener Grade.
STEP 3: SEAM PROTECTION
We waterproof the seams on your roof with Conklin butyl tape or Spunflex fabric, compressing the material between two layers of base coat.
STEP 4: FINAL COATING
Finally, we apply the final reflective topcoat that protects your roof from leaks and provides reliable protection you’ll appreciate for years to come.
“We live in an area where the temperatures range from 25° below to 100° above zero, so the roof has a lot of movement and weather related stress. This process sealed our leaks, stopped the rusting and allows our students and staff to stay dry. We didn’t know we were going to get increased energy efficiency when we started, but we are spending less to cool the building. We are going to have more of our buildings done with the MR System.”
